ive just moved to Bournemouth from Newquay, and so far not impressed with the amount of surf it has to offer! ive got a car so can anyone suggest a good spot for some surf near Bournemouth?

I lived in Newquay for years, and yes they get more surf than here, but quality wise, mid wales is loads better. Just south of Barmouth is a whole loads of class reefs, mainly long lefts with a couple of rights as well. Barmouth picks up a lot less swell than anu where. Id suggest buying a kite for those surf less days as well!!

All Ill say is check out Llwyngwril next time its big and from the south, Ill probably see you there. Oh and watch out for the boulders!!!!
