Information
Beadnell is a very attractive 3-mile horseshoe-shaped sandy bay.
Best in W and SW directions (for NW, the south end of the bay may be sailed), it is suitable for all levels of sailor from beginner to expert, due to the safe shape of the bay and the protection it offers from heavy seas.
Mainly flat water conditions within the bay. Sailable at mid to high tide, beware the rocky mid-bay reef exposed on a falling tide.
Ample parking is £3 per day and facilities include expansive, clean, grassy rigging areas, toilets, showers and local shops. Pubs, B&B and caravan sites in village.

Many charming villages around such as Craster and Embleton offering great pubs for post session refreshments. Close to Embleton beach and Newton which look to have excellent wave sailing potential.

Beadnell is ultra gusty in a W and is not recommended for kitesurfing when it's that direction.
