Information
A large sandy level beach. Can have excellent wave sailing conditions in a Westerly wind. There is a car park next to the beach and a wall at the end of the car park which is useful for rigging out of the wind. The lifeboat isn't too far away should you need it!. The beach is suitable for windsurfing, kite-surfing and other kiting activites. Although tidal, the tides don't go out too far and Prestatyn can be sailed at all states of the tide, although 2 hours either side of high tide are the best

Pubs, cafes, toilets and all the usual amenities are available close by. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer months. Dogs are allowed on the beach in restricted areas. There are facilities for the diasbled available.

To get there, from the A55 take the A525 towards Rhyl and Prestatyn or the the A 548 coast road.
