Mwnt is a lovely sandy beach surrounded by high cliffs. The outstanding beauty and undeveloped character of Mwnt provide a contrast to some of the more traditional resorts of Cardigan Bay. Owned by the National Trust, the headland of Mwnt overlooks a secluded sandy beach. Although there are relatively few amenities here, there is plenty of peace and seclusion, some nice cliff to walks and a 15th Century church to keep those interested in historical sites happy. The beach does attract quite a few visitors in the summer.
Mwnt is fairly sheltered from the winds by the cliffs and therefore not really suitable for 'forces-of-nature' sports. I have no first hand knowledge of its surf potential. There is a National Trust Car Park and some good camping hearby but no other facilities.
