My bad run of crap sails in August continues :( as Wednesday is our busy day I did'nt get down until nearly 5 but there were loads out with sails between 5 and 6m so took a chance with the wave board and 5.6 as the tide was high and the sea big !!! It was a job to get off the beach as Roger V just found to his cost as he just broke a mast and shreaded his sail :( but I managed to struggle off the beach and my first run was the best even if I did lose ground downwind in the up and down winds.I had afew runs down with the kiters but it was much too light for the small board and I am not a great lover of small kit sailing, too much wallowing for my liking !!! I did in the end just make it back to where I started to see Steve with a nice lump on his head after sailing into a metal groyne distroying his 6m
:( So at least I got back without breaking anything !!! I have got abit of a gap in my gear - hard to believe I know - but I could do with a small 100 freeride and a 6.2 m sail to take out when the sea is too big for my slalom board.
PS more bad news I lost my polorised sunglasses :(

PPS some good news check my pics in the latest Boards Mag :) - longboards rule !!!
