Weather: low cloud
Max Speed: 36mph (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 33miles (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

went to afan to do the w2 trail, we were expecting hot sunny day as per the forecast but eneded up with rain and low cloud, it did ease off but a bit pants all the same.

decided to do the w2, whcih is the wall trail combined with a link road to wyhtes level trail, basically you climb the wall trail cut across on the mountain top and descend to the second visitor centre whcih is 15miles away, a lot of climbing for not that brillant descents, mainly due to wet muddy slippy trails, the bikes gearing decided to play up too, but at the skyline bike shop they put it temp right to get me back, the climb on wyhtes level was 6k up steep rocky trails, which was knackering, then after crossing back to the wall you hit a 6k downhil run, with black options (tougher stuff), whcih considering it was supposed to be a black run seemed tame.

the last run although long was quite tough as we were knackerd by now, and the mud and slippy loose rock didn't help.

overall we did 33miles, whcih in hindsight we should have gone to coedy , long slogs up for not that brillant descents, just under 5 hours with a pit stop.

my knees still ache today..
