21st August 2010 Windsurfing: The Manor-Felixstowe Wind Direction: sw Wind Stength: 15/20 Surf / Sea State: bumpy :( Air Temperature: 24 :) Sea Temperature: 17 Weather: sunny periods Max Speed: 26.90 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 20 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Abit more wind than yesterday but much more bumpy :( I left it until after lunch to let the tide ease and hoped for some better speeds for Felixstowe but once again the sea let me down !!! Perhaps I should of risked a trip to Southend !!! Sadly I think my average for today of 25.7 is a spot record which just shows what a crap place Felixstowe is to sail !!! We need more sailers with gps's !!! |
