Hung around for hours waiting for promised wind; a couple of Mersea boys rigged 6.2/6.5m but wisely didn't wobble out. Just before heading home a few other turned up with some breeze. Rigged 6.9m/118l but barely planed so 8.5m. Wind came up for about 20 mins which was quite nice in fairly smooth sea, then the rain came. Sail is a bit weird, as wind increases I never seem to get the power from it; if I leave less floppy cams pop off.
