Windsurfing: Levington Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: F1-F5 Surf / Sea State: flat n small chop Air Temperature: 8-14 Sea Temperature: 11.5 Weather: sun, cloud, rain, hail Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Parked right hand side but launch area blocked off by metalwork, saw Mike
blasting on 6.2m so moved to lhs to launch. Rigged 115l/6.4m and wind
collapsed soon as I touched water. For safety changed to 144l and wind came
back with a short-lived squall and eventually overpowered. Wind disappeared
and Mike left, Chris S and Al arrived. Had about half an hour planing when
wind came back, but sometimes overpowered in dirty wind. Started to hail as
I was packing up. Al was having a good time finding ind all over the river.
Had about half an hour planing, and just about 2*.
Wind very up and down. Pretty location when the sun shore, though rigging
was like in a rubbish dump and needed a hot shower to clean up.
