Lovely session with no one else out. Rigged 5,6m sail as flat as I could and went out with my big 85 litre Naish Hybrid wave board. Plenty of power to start with for some lovely blasting up and down the beach and out through the waves, some of which were pretty chunky out the back with head high faces.

After a while, as the wind increased I decided to sail into Borth so made the long blast all the way down to the reef, gybed then had a mad slightly downwind run maxed out all the way back to Ynyslas.

Back at Ynyslas I spotted Morgan and Anna on the beach so stopped for a chat before heading back out. The wind had picked up quite a bit by now and a smaller board and smaller sail would probably have been better but it did mean that I was really well-powered up for some nice onshore jumping. Starting getting a bit tired by now though but decided to try a few Duck Gybes - didn't pull any off today but I think that was a combination of now being over-powered and over-tired.

All in all a good day out in the waves with plenty of wind and the entire beach to myself
