Only been here once before and broke a mast. Arrived with tide still high and no windsurfers about so explored the beach and village a bit. Local turned up and reckoned not good until about 4pm. When he rigged so did I, 76l/4.7m. Sand bar about a foot deep. Not enough wind as it dropped a bit so back to get 5.3m. Third sailor turned up and I watched him wait for break in sets and set off. I waited for break on sand bar and planed off, then shoulder high steep **cker came up, I headed for shoulder which filled to steep wall and I got munched and mast broke. Two visits and two broke masts; well it was old anywhay (gritted teeth). Sea looked good and 5.3m would have been good. Localsaid If I waited until sand bar cleared sets woudlhave been further out, so easier to plane through. 2 hour drive home to eBay.
