A really nice session in the end. It took me a while to get confortable with the new kite, but once up and going it was good. To start with the waves were pretty big with some decent head high swell rolling in, but this dropped off during the session and there was virtually nothing later in the day.

The wind gradually increases all the time and I was well-powered up and flying upwind with my 18m kite. Everyone else was out on 16m-17m kites as well, with about 8 of us on the water altogether. No jumps or anything for me, except for one early on when I swung underneath the kite and ended up with a bit of a swim!! After that decided to play it safe until I get the hang of the kite.

All in all a really good session, plenty of wind, plenty of sunshine and plenty of smiling faces. Good to finally get up and going with that kite as well.
