Quite high tide that brings white horses so rigged 115/6.5m rather then 6m it looked; I should have rigged 6m as it is a much better sail and old 6,5m easily gets uncomfortable and loses power as wind climbs. Wind swung around a bit so even though sailed to with 600m of Puffin island still only just made it back to jetty; wind was dropping close to island and only on Google earth did I realise how close Rik and I got. Think 32cm is too stiff for me on 6.5m as when loaded spins out so changed to 36cm which got upwind better.. Could have gone much quicker if a decent 6.5m. Seb joined us later. Also used 96/6m which is slower and wind decreased, but nicer to sail and ride down small wind swells
