25th September 2018 Windsurfing: Rhosneigr Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F6 Surf / Sea State: waves Air Temperature: 15 Sea Temperature: 15.1 Weather: sun and cloud Max Speed: Distance Covered: Wished I had packed 3.7m, as was very well powered on 4.2m for 2 hours and often overpowered. Waves were nice at low tide and got a bit messy and larger as tide climbed, maybe as wind was quite on shore later. Tried tri fin for a change and tried a few DLT but only one worked, others wind too strong off the wind and gusty. As tri it sat a bit higher than quad and on choppy wave faces was a little bouncy, on changing centre form 18 to 16 sat lower and more controllable. A couple of kiters in trouble, guess as strong and gusty, but Ok for windsurfers |
