Declared Hus Bos - Lasham (Basingstoke) - Gainsborough - Didcot - Hus Bos

Hammered down to the first turn at 110kph, messed around there a while, got caught out by thinking that these local soaring guys were actualy turning in something worthwhile, then crusied back up the country. At Granthem there was almost total overcast but decided to push on regardless. Not many climbs, and far between them, but staggerd across the dodgy sky, then on the other side of the clag, it was boombing again. Turned Gainsborough, and hurtled downwind. Good climbs, but a long way inbetween. I love open class! never made it to Didcot, turned short at Silverstone. Just took too long crossing that crap up North.
575km, 7:10! Longest distance and longest glider flight i've ever done.
