Sunday 22nd September - walk *** – Around Felixstowe – mainly cloudy and warm.

Another nice day here in Felixstowe, not much sun like yesterday and only a brief spell of drizzle but feeling really mild:) Nice morning in the garden, I fitted a cast iron hopper head to the wall for Mags plants, took longer than we wanted as out cordless drill battery only lasted about 10 seconds before needing recharging!!! I was doing my exercises in-between while Mag continued to pot up bulbs. I then packed a late picnic and didn’t want to go far so just walked down to Felixstowe prom at the end of our road and ambled along to have our lunch on the beach just past Jacobs Ladder. With the tide very high we could not use our usual spot but had a relaxing time watch a few yachts sail/motor past in the light easterly breeze, looked fairly bumpy out to sea! Then back along a fairly quiet prom, up past Harvest House to Tescos and home. Weather is looking mixed for next week but might get some sailing in if we can avoid the rain!

PS – nice to get a pic online from the local paper the EADT, haven’t had one in print with them all year!
