Friday 27th September - walks *** – Around Felixstowe – mainly cloudy with some light rain.

The day started with rain so I drove down to Felixstowe Ferry to take some weather pics before coming home for breakfast and do my exercises. I am still suffering the effects of a cold so windsurfing is still out of the question even though there was a stiff breeze from the north but with the tides wrong for Wrabness I would not have gone even if feeling fit! After lunch we set off on our daily walk having to wait for a shower to pass, down past harvest house and down to the seafront at The Fludgers and with the wind offshore it was pleasant enough to stroll along the prom. We walked to Jacobs Ladder then returned to just past the pier before turning inland for a few items at Lidl before returning home for a very welcome cuppa and cake after having walked 3.70 miles!

PS - was pleased to get a pic on ITV's About Anglia, good old Aisling:)
