Monday 30th September - walk ** – Around Felixstowe – Pretty wet.

Funny forecast today, breezy and wet in the morning with the wind easing and the rain supposed to clear with the wind dropping and turning a touch offshore before the wind strengthens later so decided to give windsurfing a miss. Being foul this morning I couldn’t be bothered to turn out to take weather pics so just took a few out of our windows and had a bit of a relaxing lay in:) Then after breakfast I did my exercises as the rain actually stopped with the odd glimpse of sun, after lunch we were tempted out for a walk but the showers returned so had to wait. Then around three we headed out heading up the town first and then down to Felixstowe prom with the wind in our face and the rain returned but we laughed as we got a little damp! After a quick trip round the pier we headed up the hill and home to dry out over a cuppa and biscuit! Not sure about windsurfing tomorrow as NW with more rain but fingers crossed for a trip to Wrabness on Wednesday?
