26th December 2024 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: cloudy and damp:( Max Speed: Distance Covered: Thursday 26th December - walk ** – Around Felixstowe – cloudy and damp. The holiday gloom continues, morning at home I did my exercises while Mag baked as Maeva is coming around later with her mum and dad for tea and to open her presents:) We did manage a a short walk along the prom at Felixstowe, not the best choice as it was absolutely heaving but we were snapped by celebrity photographer Alan Boyle out taking pics of the crowds! We had our sandwich today by the round pond in the spa gardens before heading for home to warm up! We then watched Goodnight Mr Tom, a nice film before our company arrived, Meava was a complete star opening her Christmas presents playing with everything, her favaourite was a little metal tongue drum but she was not keen on the pig with a noisy honk we got, it scared her! We had a nice tea which involved lots of cheese! So not a bad day despite the awful weather! Photo Album here |
