28th December 2024 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Foggy and damp Max Speed: Distance Covered: Saturday 28th December - walk *** – Around Felixstowe – foggy and damp. Due to a very busy spell over Christmas and the New Year I have really got behind with my blog and photos as we had loads of fun with family and friends including some lovely time with our two grandchildren:) The bad weather continued on Saturday with more gloomy weather, spent the day at home getting ready for the arrival of our son Rob, his partner Hannah and 7 year old Arlo. They arrived around 6 after travelling from Liverpool, we had dinner and set off for a walk to see Felixstowe’s Christmas lights starting off with tree on the triangle, through the town and down to the prom, it was a novel experience for us as we rarely venture out after dark! The pier was good as it changes light, we even went into the amusments, Arlo was happy to sit on a couple of games pretending to play them as we never have any cash! Photo Album here |
