Monday 27th January - walk ** – Around Trimley – sunny periods
and breezy.
A second named storm in as many days is hitting East Anglia, it was breezy
in the night with some rain but it was clear when I woke so drove down to
Felixstowe seafront at 7.15 to watch the sunrise. I was a little early so
drove up and down ending up at The Fludyers as the sun made an appearance
and got some nice pics of the sun through the waves splashing on the rock
groynes. I was lucky that the wind was wsw at tad offshore meaning I was
slightly sheltered from the wind, I was thinking about going windsurfing
today at Levington but got really cold on the beach which put me off! Then
home to sort out my pics, have breakfast and do my exercises, with no
sailing we decided to pack a picnic and head out for a walk. We did not go
far and parked at the Trimley Churches, first looking at the snowdrops,
before a yummy chicken roll but it was too nippy to sit too long so set off
on a short walk across the fields, through a little copse and back to the
van and home for a hot water bottle, biscuit and cuppa, I might check out
Levington tomorrow morning for a foil it not too much rain!
