Wednesday 9th April - walk ** – The Grove at Felixstowe – cloudy and chilly.

The long spell of unbroken sunshine disappeared today and we had a cloudy day with a very chilly too:( I had planned to go for a windsurf foil in the afternoon at The Dip as the tide dropped but the wind was all over the place and only 7 degrees I decided against it. So it was exercises indoors today while Mag pottered in the garden then after a hot cross bun for dinner we drove to The Grove for a walk in the woods, the biggest downside was all the earth moving going on in the building site next door, so sad they got permission to build there:( We did the usual circuit of the woods with noisy rooks in nest high in the trees with a selection of flowers, the wild garlic and bluebells are coming plus a few cowslips and white snowflakes (Leucojum) We then had a ride down to Felixstowe Ferry and back along The Fludyers and home as Maeva and her mum were coming round, she was the usual star, such fun and we are having her again tomorrow:)

PS – its always nice to get on the cover of the local In Touch magazines:)
