Was looking forward to today as I saw that there was some wind forecast last night, well only 15 knots but better than nothing. Anyway got up this morning, looked out the window and it seemed ok so off I trolleyed. Got there about 1.30pm and was pretty unimpressed really even thought about not bothering to rig up but it was SOOO HOT and there were about 30 people windsurfing so I thought 'why not' shame to waste the journey. Anyway, rigged the 8.0m Naish Noa (my biggest probably need bigger for days like today) and out I went. Was constantly harnessed up which was good, whereas 2 months ago I was not confident getting on the harness now I have no problem with it. Just wasn't enough speed though to really excite me, planed about once for about 15 seconds and that was it. Did loads of out and ins, drank some coffee, more out and ins, did quite a few tacks which I thought was good considering the lack of wind, overtook some other people, hurray, and then packed up. Was out for about 2.5 hours then got fed up. Nice to go out though. The water was sooo nice just floating in it was beautiful :-). Roll on next time. Only two stars though cause it wasn't very exciting really.
