29th August 2004
Windsurfing: Golf Course Car park, Ynyslas
Wind Direction: WSW
Wind Stength: 18-20 knots
Surf / Sea State: 2-3 foot messy surf
Air Temperature: 10ºC
Sea Temperature: 17ºC
Weather: Cloudy
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

A nice early start before high tide, and I started off by launchung the 13m Strike, but once in the air decided it was too windy for that, especially with very little beach left, so quickly packed it away and rigged my windsurfing kit.

The wind was perfect for the 5.7m and I was well powered up and able to sail out towards the Bar and blast back in playing in the waves. The tide was up on the pebbles, so launching and landing was a little dodgy, so I just styaed out there and enjoyed myself. Some nice little jumps, but mainly just blasting back and forth at speed. The wind picked up a little and I started getting to the comfortably maxed out stage as Steve turned up. I then went home for breakfast, before going out a gain later.
