Got up at 5:30am and Went down to SE Wales for the final round of the British series Hang Gliding comp. Arrived on takeoff and conditions looked to be ok so found a rigging spot. All the top pilots left the hill at 1ish so I had to quickly get into the air. Got into the air 15 mins to late as a huge gaggle left in a weak climb and top cover was approaching fast shutting down convection for the day so I was just stuck on Merthyr ridge boring for a few hours
