Got a decent session in today as the winds were a better match to my abilities. Was deliberating whether to use the 6 or 8m but went for the 6m (after yesterdays overpowerdness didnt want that again). Did runs in and out, out to the far bouys and back. Got planing a few times which was great. Practised my upwind performance which is improving but best of all is that I pulled off EVERY tack, I mean I didn't fall in once. I was so amazed that I tacking deliberately to see if I would fall off but just didn't so I get I got that one under the hat. BTW I could tack before but only about 70% of the time, but today was 100% so thats great. Was gonna try some non-planing gybes but didn't get round to it, maybe next time now that I've got those tack sorted. Oh I did get catapulted twice which was fun. Oh must remember to set the boom at the right height, initially it was too low and I was all over the shop until I raised it to shoulder height. Was out for about 2.5 hours in total. Gonna give it four stars because of the tack success.
