As usual the estuary was showing goods in the east wind. I arrived to see plenty of kites and Al all over the water. I decided to rig the 5.8 as the wind at an everge of about 18knots. I was maxed out most of the time and had a great time. My sailing today was really good and I had no problems with the chop at all in the gybes. After an hour or two I got a bit over confident and forgot to watch the falling tide and wacked my fin in mid gybe. Wnet back in to file it down and watch if I could pick up the channel. All of a sudden the water went flat so I wnet out for anther session. Wind wind had dropped a bit so I was just powered up. Must have been what of the best sails I have had in ages.
