10th September 2005
Windsurfing: Ynyslas Estuary
Wind Direction: NE
Wind Stength: 16-12 knots
Surf / Sea State: Flat
Air Temperature: 16ºC
Sea Temperature: 16ºC
Weather: Cloudy
Max Speed: 23.3 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 8.9 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

The wind seemed to be filling in so I landed my kite and set up my big windsurfing kit instead. I had a quick go on Daves BIG board and 8.5m sail first all of which felt pretty heavy and cumbersome to me (Its the biggest kit I've ever used). There seemed to be enough wind though so I soon joined them for a quick blast on my Sputnik and 6.7m sail. Nothing special, just nice cruising conditions. At one point I sailed right up beside Sarah and pretty much sat on the nose of her board as we were sailing along (pretty trusting of me really seeing as she had mowed me down while I was kitesurfing)... As the tide dropped, so did the wind so that was it for the day... Not bad seeing as there was no wind forecast.
