Arrived at the crack of dawn. I dont think Anna is very impressed as Al and I woke the little one. Oops sorry.

Rigged the 7.0 and S-type and with the marginal wind managed to plane straight away. Soon the wind dropped off much to our fustration.

It did pick up again but not to the level we were expecting. I was still pretty much powered most of the time and enjoyed the flat water. Most runs I maxed at 25-26 knots but did manage a 28.3knot blast when the I caught a big gust and I was running with the tide. I am sure the tide adds a knot or two to the top speed.
The wind did switch off as everything warmed up a bit. Hope fully more of the same tomorrow.

Easy day out and very much worth the early start.
