Well, after nearly 2 wks with no wind (much to the dismay of the
International Formula championships held here last week) it was great to
have a good southerly. An unbelievable amount of kiters were out with
conditions for sailing along and back the beach which required a lot of
concentration and taking a definate course as I worked my way out. Finally
made some nice gybes although the chop also made for some wicked falls! The
water is finally good for a shortie and it was heaven to be back out there
although the wind only lasted a couple of hours.
Did some spot searching over the last couple of weeks and apart from Mar
Menor have found nothing viable as it is fin-snappingly rocky or bad for
access on most beaches I looked at. The search goes on...
