30th April 2007
Windsurfing: Sandwich Bay
Wind Direction: NE
Wind Stength: 20-25mph
Surf / Sea State: wind driven mush
Air Temperature: 20
Sea Temperature: 10
Weather: Sunny
Max Speed: 11.3 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 1.2 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Went there primarily for kite buggying but had a windsurf first, rigged 4.5m and headed out, got pounded in the waves, got on the board once for a few seconds before being taken out by a wave. Back to the beach to recover and then out again, got on the board for a little longer this time but fell in trying to gybe and found I was out of my depth with not enough sail to waterstart so got washed back in by the waves and called it a day.
Pretty rubbish session really that confirmed that I should stick to flat water as I would have been happily blasting on flat water, still I did prove that I can still rig the windsurf gear after about 6 months off windsurfing.
