Rabbits!

Slight hangover after last nights festivities with the Brogborough Windsurfing Club Dinner. Nice food and company, and Phils slideshow eventually worked and was very professional. Pauline's "Victoria Wood" thing was entertaining too. The trophy selection was a little predictable, except for Ron the Plummer getting the infamous "Brogborough Brick" award for biggest gaff. In his case a broken ankle after an demonstrable inability to get out of SPD cleats on his MTB. Followed by a long stay at "Tony & Pauline's Hotel" while in convalescence.

Freezing morning on the bike with a few snow flurries to scare you.
Not a lot of enthusiasm after my new toy ride yesterday. Didn't want to get salt on it so I went out on the going-to-work bike. 4 of us and not one knew where we "Worlds End Cafe" is. So we did a loop up to Woburn - where I broke a spoke in my back wheel on the block side, Leightn Buzz and back down to Houghton. I ended going up the same hill 3 times. I felt really strong though and zipped up the hill and left my cohorts on the hills if I wanted. Carl was strong. My scales say I' down to 67kg, which I doubt as Dave's Wii said I was 70.2kg 2 weeks ago. Still on track.

Got the Icknield Cyclo Cross next Sunday afternoon. That's be a laugh.
