Saturday 3rd April - walk *** - Around Felixstowe – cloudy and cool.

A gloomy day with a cool breeze from the north and with a late tide on the River Stour I was not tempted to make the trip today. We had a morning at home, me doing my exercises while Mag did some gardening and baking, then after lunch we decided to have a walk to the Grove again as weather not good enough to warrant a bike ride, perhaps tomorrow before we get a cold blast from the north:( It is best to walk away from the prom for even on a gloomy day it can get busy. We entered Abbey Grove, then into the Grove proper with its noisy crows and bonkers squirrels with mainly only daffodils in bloom now. We carried onto the cliff top to get a glimpse of the grey North sea, not very inspiring. We definitely pleased to be home as we had our six mile legs and we had only walked three! Cuppa and cake were the order of the day lighting the fire too!
