Hey Rob,

Another good option is St Lucia (great flight deals with Xcel at the moment). For more info check out http://www.slucia.com/kitesurf />
I've been here for 4 years and the place rocks. I've kited on most of the Islands and St Lucia just has it in terms of wind and conditions.

For some videos of St Lucia check out http://www.kiteworld.tv and look at the Cabrinha Tour, SE Winds, Kitefiesta and Coconuts and Banana's

If you make it over give me a shout and we'll meet up for a kite..

Cheers
Dave.

Hi Dave

Thanks for that I will keep it in mind. I forgot to say that I will probably be doing the HIHO race in the BVI's the week after so will need to have good connection flights to Tortola. Do you know if there are regular flights from St Lucia?

Cheers Rob

There are a couple of ways to get to Tortolla from St Lucia. One is to fly through Puerto Rico and the other is through Antigua with Liat. Unfortunately there are no direct flights from St Lucia.

Another cool place to learn to kite is in Antigua. Check out the guys at Kite Antigua : http://www.kitesurfantigua.com/ Adam who runs it is a real cool guy, also there is a chance that you'll get to meet Dre. From there you can get direct flights up to Tortolla.

If you need any more info just let me know.

Cheers
Dave.
