I am looking for a cheap early intermediate board and have been offered a AHD Freediamond 77 is this a good choice will it be fun quick and the board to master footstraps on

Depends on your ability/standard. is it 77 lts? thats quite small! & would need alot of power to get the best from it....

na 77 refers to the width 77cm
its a barge if your used to 77l
should be and ideal learing footstraps platform
but beware they are bloody fragile !
