Well for that reason I am now heading up to the North West.... Barrow in Furness, or in particular Walney Island. Looked it up on google maps and chatted with the guy who runs the kitesurf school there. Looking like good conditions for saturday with a possibility of something sunday, or at the worst a spot of wakeboarding.

Will let you know what it's like on Monday.
Have a good weekend guys.

Mark

what a great day saturday turned out to be!! totaly unexpected; 2 huge sessions; 13m in the morning and 15 in the aft(should have used the 13 really but too lazy to pump it up)
AND 2 SHOWERS AS WELL + THE ONE FRIDAY EVENING AFTER MY LATE SAIL!
shame about todays cloud and drizzle.oh and lack of wind!
some great tails of mountain bike riding though on saturday evening Spooks!
great weekend and great company..........who said Tony was'nt there?

Similar situation for us. We ended up going to Rhosneigr afterall on Friday nite.

Got up early and had a decent morning out on my 15m although it was WNW so very 'onshore'. Either way it was a good little play so would have been more fun for you lighter chaps.

Sunday though it was deathly still and by lunchtime there was a light drizzle so made our way home early to brilliant sunshine by the time we reached Chester and all the way back to Derby.

A good weekend on the dark side. Don't think I should have had that 6:30 am sail saturday though as my body is now suffering from lack of sleep.

I think Luke has forgotten about Jon's conversation material now saturday night, thank god. Could have been tricky explaining that to his mom!
