looking pretty light even for big kites at the mo, but if it turns up Ill pop out. Sold my 20meter due to not getting out in the light stuff, but still have a 15, so may see you there.

Hi Neil,

Well myself and Debs are contemplating a trip to Borth this weekend. It's the beach clean as well on Sunday.

Was going to bring the inflatable down too so at least we could have a wakeboard in the estuary if no wind turns up as high tide is between 1 and 2pm I think. Mind you not a big tide difference this weekend so not sure how much water will be in the estuary.

Still, I have my 17m to try out so would like to give it a go if there is a promise. I could always bring the 20m down out of the loft if anyone else wants a play.

Not enough wind for me i'm afraid cptn, looks like another weekend of DIY, though I have managed to install a flip down DVD player jobbie in the van so all is not lost!

Plenty of wind in El Gouna.

Well following the forecast for some uninterrupted sunshine I can more or less guarantee that we will be at the beach this weekend.

You will have to remind me of the gate code Neil. What time do you expect to arrive ?

Mark

i wish there was some wind as we have loads of new 2010 kit to try out, it's all gathering dust at the moment.....

on the plus side i'm seeing of my lad to uni this sunday so me and kerry have an empty house until xmas...yipee

bucski - 24-9-2009 at 17:10

col can I have your job? Not putting out fires for four days and then waiting to try lots of new toys for the next four sounds a lot more fun than teaching.

shem - 24-9-2009 at 20:32

shud send me th etoys Col, weve had 4 days of wind this week, in fact its just dropped off in time for the weekend. Id laugh, but Ive lost teaching money from 4 punters again!! Oh well. Mountain biking it is then, and Ive got a new bike to ride as well

col123 - 25-9-2009 at 19:07

talking of new toys, ive just got a giant defy3 2010, yes i know it's a road bike, but triathlon's are tough on a mountainbike..

As ive gone down the road bike route it got me thinking is it like comparing windsurfing to kitesurfing..ie:- road bike equals windsurfing etc...if so i hang my head in shame..although i still do have the specialized enduro mountainbike, so not all's lost

roadbike for 30k then off road for 18k followed by a run

oh yea new kit list..bandit 3, wainman rabbits and blunt and surf boards, nobile t5's hybrid drysuit from prolimit, ion harness, switchblade4, cross bow, naish helix, torch and cult plus charger, and there board range, oh and vegas 2010 and that's just for starters, need some wind now, two weeks should be out water wise.......

Tim someone's got to do it and thats ME
