Most likely rhosneigr for five days from Sunday, though nothing def yet. Only headin there for the waves - so good in a strong SW.
I have kitesurfed Hells Mouth once and must say it was excellent, great waves again, though parking big vans could be a bit of an issue, bit of a small car park there, though you might be able to park on the road.
And just missed a Nobile 08 132 on ebay, bidding went up to £362 would you believe - too rich for me so my bid didn't even count - gutted.

mNeil - 19-10-2009 at 11:53

sat and sunday looking more like SSE so black rock might be tghe place to go?

Loxley - 19-10-2009 at 13:24

We are heading south this friday night. Have a weekend planned in exmouth.
Hopefully the wind will pick up a little, but staying dry would be welcome.

Spooker - 19-10-2009 at 15:55

Hi Mark - just come back from Exmouth!

Well Dawlish Warren to be exact - other side of the estuary, no wind whatsoever tho the whole week we were there. Not sure where to go over next weekend, and probably won't decide till Thursday or so - wee what the forcasts r like....

Loxley - 20-10-2009 at 12:28

Hi Spooks, can you recommend anywhere to park up ?

We are delivering the boat to it's new owner.

Spooker - 20-10-2009 at 22:31

I believe you can overnight now (out of season) both on the seafront road - towards Orcombe Point and also in the harbour. check out www.wildcamping.co.uk for info.

Just come back from a week in Devon/Dorset and stayed in various carparks and laybys with no hastle.

mNeil - 21-10-2009 at 07:35

justal - 21-10-2009 at 09:00

Tony and Andy B...don't forget your 10 pound notes,

Spooker - 21-10-2009 at 16:01

If you're referring to the jumping competition Col - judging takes account of not just hight and style, but the LANDING s well - not one of your strong points I fear

mNeil - 21-10-2009 at 16:30

i fear too the bombing runs( discharging of ones board in mid air) might be suspect-as shown in the galleries section

Fart Boy - 21-10-2009 at 20:23

Mark,
You can park on the seafront but it sometimes can be a bit noisy with the occasional chav in his souped up corsa racing up & down (more so in the summer though)
You can also park up next to the slipway at the end of town by the fish shop & waterfront sports but you'll have to pay the guy in the fish shop - £6.00 per night.
Maybe you could visit Edge Watersports next to the 'duckpond' but make sure you speak to the lady in the shop as she's very helpfull.
You can also stop at the Haldon Forest mtb centre near Exeter, they lock the gates at 7pm but won't throw you out if you're already there.
