For those of you who were at Borth on Saturday and saw the helicopter and coastguard guys out searching for the missing boy... As suspected from the circumstances in which he went missing, he's OK and was shacked up with some girl in Borth!

quote:

A teenage boy who went missing while on holiday with his parents in mid Wales has been found after three days.

Police had said they were becoming increasingly concerned about Anthony Parris, 14, from Greater Manchester.

He had told his mother he was going to meet a girl before he left a caravan park at Borth, a few miles up the coast from Aberystwyth.

Police said on Sunday afternoon that inquiries led them to a flat in Borth, where he was with a teenage girl.

A helicopter and coastguards had been involved in the search for Anthony, from Cheshire.

Police had said they were getting more worried because there had been no argument with his family and he had never before walked out.

Before he was found, Det Insp Mark Bergmanski said his disappearance was "totally out of character" and his family were "distraught".

His parents had seen him with a girl before he went missing, who they described as pretty, aged about 16, slim, and sounded English.

Anthony had told them the girl had a flat in Borth, and police were appealing for sightings of the couple.

Anthony had last been seen at 1030 BST on Thursday when he left the Golden Sands caravan park in Borth, a few miles up the coast from Aberystwyth.

Dyfed-Powys Police used a helicopter to look for him on Saturday and asked coastguards to check the nearby estuary.

Anthony was reunited with his parents, who had been due to go back home on Sunday but delayed their return until he was found.
