What are you doing this weekend..?
It is time again for the annual Boardwise windsurfing demo this coming weekend (2nd and 3rd of July), with full support and equipment
from all their suppliers. You can expect all the usual fun and action of the water with Windsurfing and Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP)
equipment from Starboard, Tushingham, Fanatic, North, RRD, Ezzy, JP, Neilpryde, Tabou, Gaastra and also Severne..!
The demo weekend will take place in the beautiful setting of Aberdovey, the perfect flat water bump and jump location in Wales. For
those wanting a bit of wave action there is a sand bar just out of the estuary mouth for you to get your fix on. The demo starts at
10am Saturday and will finish about 4pm Sunday (depending on wind Slalom - Prize fund of £500 (the only UK Slalom event with a prize
fund). Goodies provided for amateur fleets by JP/NP.

Shame it looks like no wind what so ever! Strange as boardwise is normally lucky hey!
Did anyone go to this? How was it?

I popped over. Fair bot of kit on the beach, one lad trying to wind surf on a board the size of Aberdyfi pier with equally large sail
and a few people on sups making the most of the glassy conditions.
Pretty pants, shame as the sun was great, wud have been a classic if a decent sea breeze had kicked in.
Decent selection of boards on the beach!
Oh well, lets hope for more wind for the autumn demo day... I was out riding my bike on the Long Mynd in the Marshbrook round of the
CRC MTB Marathon series which seems to have been the better option given the conditions.
