Had a epic week in fuerte last week! Id pondered over where to go for a perfect family and kitesurf holiday, and Im pleased to say it ticked all the boxes! Kids n faye where happy around the resort pool, and I only had to cycle 5 minutes to get to flag beach from the hotel. Wind was 20 knots by mid day every day, except for one day which only got to 15 knots. So powered on a 11 every day. :-)

Glad you enjoyed it Shem, I went there a few years ago and enjoyed Flag beach. Did you check out the surfing spots on the North of the Island? Was flat when I did.

I had 3 weeks there in May and would deff go back too.

I love Flag beach, ride upwind to Rocky point for some class action, but beware the rocks on the inside!

The swell was huge on the North shore. I did kite Cortillo but found the wind gusty off the cliffs. I also surfed there and got punished!
