manolo have you tried using babelfish translator
http://babelfish.altavista.digital.com/babelfish/tr /> might find that very useful as your english is slightly miss leading.
do you speak spanish ,or portuguese?

justal - 9-11-2005 at 16:56

I think it was probably the babelfish translator (or another service) that generated the misleading English myself!

Cor blimey Jon , thats some ligo you a sayin.

jon d hat - 11-11-2005 at 21:22

Just tryin to be curtiouse to our european brothers, and show them that some of us English folk respect other cultures Neil!

Tis also a good opportunity for me to polish up my very rusty Spanish

And hay, after seeing these photos and sun stats, why not go and checkout the wind and reefgirls. But if any of them there giant tapeworms go anywhere near my sangria, they'll have one angry mo fo to deal with

mNeil - 11-11-2005 at 21:38

where did you learn that spanish Jon? looked good and am sure would come in very handy .

jon d hat - 11-11-2005 at 22:06

Its a long story about why i learned and im sure we will discuss it at length one windless day!

I enroled in a basic course the local college for starters and enjoyed it so much that i went on to do 'o'level and some of my 'a' level...Its great when your out there as the locals respect the effort that you make, and they will prompt you when you hav'nt got things quite right.

The last two times I was out there travelling through, it enabled me to get involved in some realy good circles. I was also offered a couple of jobs, It really opens up doors and its good browny points for the English that arn't lager fuelled hooligans.

I'm very out off practice but would soon pick it back up again with the aid of a pocket verb book and dictionary.
