arrrived at ogmore as an experiment to see if nw is any good. I was right perfect cross shore and a big swell at the river mouth only problem light wind too light for the wave board so I rigged up the 7 and the stoke. Swell was too big and very intimidating so I bottled and as it was high tide walked back and across the river and launced from the other side. With the wind I just managed to get out and ahd a great time on some big swell not breaking in the river mouth if only I had a big wave baord. Never mind when I finsihed I landed back at the beach and it hafd completly changed as the tide had dropped I thought that I was the biggest pussy going. i learned a lot great place in a nw when the tide is not too high.

Nick-the-Fish, don't forget to add your latest findings to the beachguide listing for Ogmore. It already said that it was good in a NW, but didn't have many details, so post a comment in the beachguides if you get the time.

Cheers.

Al.

next ime I go to ogmore I will need back up when the tide is high and a good swell it takes a lot of bottle to go out, but once you clear the swell it is really good.
