Anyone tried any of these or seen any tests?

Looking for a new 4.2 and possibly 6ish metres and these caught my eye:

Like the look of the Spyclone. They also make a dacron sail that sounds interesting if not a bit retro!

Any thoughts or opinions? Not much more money than than a year or two old used NP/North sail and even a bit cheaper than Gun from a shop on ebay....

Bottled it and gone for used 4.2 NP Expression and 6.2 Saber....maybe next time. Thought I'd have to get a spidey suit to go with them!

My 4.7 and 5.3 sails are about 8 years old but still ok as don't get out as much as some and don't get a lot of use, although gf is using them more now than me.

Chicken.... Sounds as though you have gone from one extreme to the other... Super cheap sails to Neil Pryde.... I'm still sticking to Gun Sails, but then I get through a few more than you, so have to watch the pennies.

Its about time you graced us with your presence here in Borth.

I got used sails, in fact the 4.2 is ex centre sail and was only £75, and the 6.2 is immaculate but 2004 sail.

Those Black Superfreaks look really striking from the photos and being dacron should be durable compared to monofilm?

Yes not been to Wales since Christmas, parents are selling their house and its just soooo far to drive. Its not actually that bad but don't really fancy more time in the car at weekends than I have too.

Hunstanton isn't too far but usually head to Kent as Amandas parents live there so have somewhere to stay too and some of the beaches are really nice but obviously not wavey which suits me fine. Only about 2 hours away, Borth is 3 1/2 - 4

Decided to do a less kiting and more windsurfing for a change and have a bit more time now finished thesis and had viva etc - just 3 minors to do, so I'm about D. Brookes with the r to come soon!
