Windsurfing: The Dip-Felixstowe Wind Direction: ssw Wind Stength: 25/35 Surf / Sea State: big and lumpy :( Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny Max Speed: 25.48 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 18.35 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)
Having just got back from France and with my gps seized up ( luckily a
friend took it home and updated the firmware and it is working :) but it is
running very slow :( - cheers Steve C!!! ) so I sailed my home beach at The
Dip, Felixstowe for the first time this year !!! It was not my favourite
sailing - small board/sail in strong winds in the lumpy North Sea - oh to
have a nice flat water or wave spot nearby but the sun shone and for once
the windsurfers outnumbered the kiters !!! I started with 5.6 but changed
to 4.8 as the wind increased during the day. I tried a few jumps, even
managed some gybes and went to explore the rough water in the river mouth,
so not too bad a day and great to be out with your mates :)
