6th March 2023
Wing Boarding: West Shore Llandudno
Wind Direction: NW
Wind Stength: F4/F5
Surf / Sea State: Waves and chop
Air Temperature: 6.5
Sea Temperature: 6.9
Weather: Overcast
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

Sea quite messy which was a disappointment as usually nice in NW, especially after High. Wind eased as I launched so hard to get going on 1000MA, got some gybes in but as winging slow to manage chop and wind light on exit I was dropping out so changed to 1550 and learning that is preferred in tricky conditions.
Went through phases of all gybes working, then none as I learnt to time better in chop pleased overall. Towards end waves cleaned up and had 7s ride which is good for me. Last time I tried waves here I got too much lift, but 205 stab seems much more uniform.
Wind a bit up and down, 5m a good choice.
