Round the Island (Hayling Island)
It has been missing off the windsurfing calendar for a few years now, but it is back and hopefully better than ever. In it’s hay
day this race used to attract over 200 competitors to the sunny shores of Hayling. Being held on Good Friday what better way to kick
off Easter (don’t tell the family/non-sailing other half).
Windsurfing round the island is no easy task with the tide to consider, wind shadows, the bridge and the seafront. Events are planned
for less experienced sailors. Entry fee includes registration, safety cover and after party.
We are talking with a number of manufacturers who are hoping to display there wares on the day, hopefully contributing to the early
season event atmosphere.
