Bristol typhoon
Did anyone see the news footage of the typhoon that came up the bristol channel today
If I can get a still picture maybe some one will advise on sail size

Just to be a bit picky... i don't think it was a typhoon!! Typhoon's are the same as hurricanes.. Both are regional names for tropical
cyclones.
I think on the news they were calling it a Tornado, which is more accurate, but as it was out at sea and not over land, its true term
is a waterspout!!
I've seen a Tornado in Bristol itself once, and have seen a waterspout at croyde as well.. pretty impressive beasts!!
