Rough Ride 2007
I am only doing the 40KM, last year it was very hot and I got cramp in both quads. This year should be cooler, may even rain later.

I've done all five of these, and they seem to get harder and harder as they play with the route. Today was v tough with a lot of soft
grass/moorland climbs. We only did the half course this year for a number of reasons and it was still v hard, but still a great ride.

Not just me that took the shorter option then! I didn't really enjoy it I just found it a slog most of the time.
I really wasn't sure about some of the trails they it just seams like they stuck a few markers in the right direction
through the gauze/heather bog or what ever was in the way.
When it was on trails it was softgrass or deeply rutted making pedaling a nightmare. I think I will stick to the meridas they seem to
plan the routes a bit better
