Morocco - Dakhla - Opinions please.

Just had an email in from Waveriders with their summer spots to visit. The kitesurf camp at Dakhla looks interesting. Not necessarily a cheap holiday maybe.

Anyway, anyone been ? Opinions on kiting conditions etc etc ?

Also, any one up for a foreign kiting trip this year ?

Will be off snowboarding with Neil at Easter, so it will need to be from end of april onwards and not in july as cant get time off work then and also I cant make the Tiree trip end of may either but would like to go somewhere further afield.

Loxley.

What dates are you snowboarding? I have the last week in march off and would be interested in a week on the sloaps.

Will be giving up work for a couple of years as of March/April and will be up for any kiting trips. Lived in Morocco for 6 months and would like to revisit if your up for it. Let me know what you decide to do.

Jon,
If you want me to reserve you a place I have the owners email/phone number etc.

I stayed there in my camper last feb. Its very basic, well its just a car park actually, but for your 16 euros a night you do get mains electric hook up and fresh water and waste dumping water. But the benefit is that its 20 yards from the main gondola lift.

My van will be full as debs is coming along and my best mate and his wife, but i am sure between me and neil you are welcome to share our 'facilities' for shower/loo etc.

Serre chevalier is a great little resort and its about 30 minutes drive from Ozones snow kiting centre at Col de Lautaret. In fact you have to drive past it to get to the resort anyway.

Mark

Chears guys but I thought that you'd be flyin. I only have the week off so would waste at least 2 days travelling. It's a heck of a drive..i've done it before and is worse than suffering jetlag. I'll spk to you about it at the weekend.
